Muntons Premium Pilsner
by eddy c @ 25, May 2008

 4/5

Muntons Premium Pilsner Brewcraft #15 brew booster 1kg 250g Dextrose Muntons Premium Gold Yeast Boiled 6 liters of water and added the brew booster and dextrose and brought to a boil for 10 minutes. Then the kit and boiled for 3 minutes. Cooled and then yeast pitched around 25 degrees. Kept at 19 degrees for 3 weeks then bottled with carbonation drops. Had one after a month and was very average, left for a further two months and beer had really turned a corner with a good kick to it.

Morgans Blue Mountain Lager
by eddy c @ 08, Oct 2007

 5/5

Can of morgans blue mountain lager, 600g dex, 250g light malt brew improver, 250g wheat malt brew improver, 12g hallertau and done s-23. Boiled all fermentables besides the kit for 10 minutes, added hops five minutes before flameout and mixed the kit at flameout. Water bathed and cooled to 20 degrees then yeast was pitched. Fermented for around 3 weeks and came out with a beautiful crean crisp lager at 5.3%, beer needs at least a month in the bottle before drinking but only gets better with age. Will definatley do again. Cheers
