Brewed using grumpys medium extract and nothing more. Brewed out for a week then racked for another...... Very drinkable after only 3 weeks in the bottle .... Just superb.

Have made the porter twice now and have enjoyed it both timed, the first instalment was a simple kit + kit yeast and a 50/50 bag of dex & lme. The second and far better use of the kit was in the creation of a honey porter. I added 1kg of honey (organic)1kg of light malt and and kit + yeast --- it was a winner, high alcohol content 7+ and smooth well rounded mouth feel + a good head, one longneck was a huge winter warmer !!
