Tooheys Lager
by Jeff
@ 08, Feb 2005 |

|
|
My first brew so followed directions to
the letter. Ferment temp ranged from
18-24 degrees. Contacted Tooheys who
advised lagering to improve taste
further. Unfortunately, because the
lagering bottles are cold, most have
been consumed as its a very approachable
beer. At 20 weeks there is very little
on the nose to indicate a home brew

Goliath Swagman Bitter
by Jeff
@ 25, Jan 2005 |

Ive used this pack twice and had nice
results both times.
I followed the instructions on the pack
and used a Coopers Australian Pale Ale
tin with the supplied Coopers yeast.
Out of the six masterbrews that ive
tried this ones the best although its a
bit too bitter when first kegged but it
lovely after about 2 weeks in the
fridge.
