Morgans Yukon Brown Smoked Ale
by Lamc @ 20, Oct 2006

 2/5

Made with 1kg lme, 250g dex, 250g maltodextrin and kit yeast. Nice smokey flavour but not much after that. It could benefit from some dark malts or something. I can only drink 1 bottle in a sitting.

Coopers Original Lager

Can be good, can be bad. Ditch the yeast and add some late hops.

Coopers Sparkling Ale

My favorite Coopers. I make it as per instructions but add 20g Cascade hops steeped. Yum

Coopers Original Draught

Another good startin kit. I make it to try to get a megaswill beer for my mates always using saflager, malt and dex and sometimes flavour hops. A good beer to get pissed on with your CUB mates on a hot summers day. (I do not condone drinking CUB products unless you have to.)

Coopers Irish Stout
by Lamc @ 20, Oct 2006

 5/5

I brewed this as per directions and at 1 month thought it was too bitter. I love it now (3months) I'm going to have a problem aging this as it tastes so good

Coopers Dark Ale

Nice beer. rates 3.5 but could be a 4 with all malt

Coopers Bavarian Lager
by Lamc @ 20, Oct 2006

 4/5

Another good brew to add some extra hops too. The lager yeast puts it just above par and should be brewed under lager conditions. I've done it all malt, malt and dextrose and all malt with dry enzime. I prefer either the dextrose or enzime to make it lighter in taste

Coopers Australian Pale Ale
by Lamc @ 20, Oct 2006

 3/5

I've made this a few times. A good base to add extra malt and definatly needs hops for aroma and maybe bitterness depending on how much malt you add.
