Have made this twice now, both times as per instructions with supplied yeast. 2nd time made to 23L, which was far better- this is a VERY bitter kit so don't ever make it to less than 22l! An excellent beer, as per usual for the ESB 3kg kits. Highly recommended.

Made as per instructions with supplied yeast. Was worried that this was going to be a 'gimmick' beer, but to my surprise it turned out to be a nice full-bodied ale with a hint of smokiness to it. Perhaps not something i'd make all that often, but very nice for something new and different! Recommended.

Made with supplied yeast & 1kg coopers brew booster to 22.5L. I found the taste to be very 'lite' & plain. kind of like drinking beer flavoured fizzy water! Hardly any body or noticeable character at all. Still drinkable for some, but i can't say i actually enjoyed drinking it.
