TCB Wetpak - Summer Wheat
by petesbrew @ 06, Jan 2008

 4/5

Brewed this one about 18 months ago. My first wetpak. I was expecting a Hoegaarden thingy, but it turned out completely different. Didn't really taste that wheat-y to me, but still, it was a fantastic beer. Colour was a light amber, which slighlty darkened to a copper-red by 9 months. Entered into a 6 pack swap with other brewers and all enjoyed it. I'll do this one again sometime again.

Coopers Bitter
by petesbrew @ 07, Feb 2007

 4/5

Made this one up for something different, with brew enhancer 1(Can't remember which one), 100g choc grain and 20g goldings (dry hopped). Turned out pretty nice. I find the bitterness is just right to compliment the aroma/flavouring hops. I'll use this one again for sure, just with a different recipe.

Coopers Dark Ale
by petesbrew @ 22, Dec 2006

 5/5

Made this up with Brew Enhancer 2, 250g choc malt and 20g Goldings steeped for 10 min. Turned out fantastic. Like a Tooheys Old or Carlton Black, but with more character. Very pleased with it. I've used it in a toucan stout before, and it's great!

Cascade Chocolate Mohogany Porter
by petesbrew @ 18, Dec 2006

 2/5

I made this one up as a honey porter recipe too... 1kg Dark Dry malt, 500g yellowbox honey, 20g cascade hops. I'm blaming the recipe here rather than the kit, as all I can taste is a below ordinary beer that doesn't taste anywhere near as good as it looks. Maaaaaybe I'll try this kit again, but definitely not as a honey porter.

Morgans Blue Mountain Lager
by petesbrew @ 10, Dec 2006

 5/5

Mixed this one up with 1kg can of Morgans Pale Malt, the supplied yeast, and dry-hopped with 15g cascade. Initially thought the cascade was a mistake, as it turned a great tasting beer into an okay tasting beer, but it still tastes fantastic. I gave some to a lady friend yesterday and she couldn't get enough of it, Even turning down the heinekens in favour for it!
