Grumpys BOSTON CREAM

Made with WLP041 Pacific Ale yeast at
about 20*C. Instructions are
straightforward and pretty easy to
follow. Very drinkable after a couple of
weeks, nice, gentle aroma and flavour.
An easy introduction to more heavily
hopped beers for some, or just right for
others (including SWMBO).

India Pale Ale Fresh Wort Kit

So easy to make, pour into the
fermentor, pitch yeast, close lid. Sit
down and open a beer. Fermented at
around 19 degrees with White Labs
Pacific Ale (WLP041). Took a while to
carbonate and for the flavours to settle
down but now it's a great drop, complex
flavours, rounded mouthfeel.

TCB Wetpak - American Pale

The hoppy aroma really hits you with
this one, citrus and flowery. This is a
partial mash kit so you need to steep
some grains and do a 60 minute boil. For
me this was a good introduction to the
whole process and helped me move up to
AG. Simple to make really, the
instructions are good. If you have only
done normal kits before you'll be
amazed at the amount of hops in the
fermentor. Fermented at about 20 with
Safale. I will make again for sure (my
wife loved it too).
