I made this for the first time recently,
using the "Hobbo's Old" recipe from
Morgans homepage. 1 Can Morgans
Australian OLD. 1 Can Morgans Master
Blend -Roasted Black Malt. 12g Packet of
Fuggles Hops.
I also had some Wyeast 1056 handy and
used that. Also added 150gms wheat dry
malt extract for an extra creamy head.
Kegged when done. I'm a big Tooheys Old
fan and this is easily better. I'll be
making lots more if this.

Put down brew with 600g of dark dry malt
and 400g of Maltodextrin. Used
Williamette finishing hops in tea bag.
Fermented using yeast supplied with
kit.
Waited 8 weeks to try. Excellent brew
which is getting better with more time
in bottle. Very, very close to Tooheys
Old.
Will definately put down again, maybe
with 1 kg of dark or chocolate liquid
malt.
