I quite like this one... not the best
kit in the world, but very affordable,
and nice and dry on the finish. Head
retention is quite good. I like this
beer done with 2 cans in about 30 L of
water. The kit yeast is fine, but
doesn't settle out as well as, say,
Nottingham or even Cooper's, as a
comparable dry yeast.
I always have this on the shelf - kind
of the unspectacular old standby house
beer.

Made with 500g LDME, 250g dextrose, 250g
corn syrup, 22L, kit yeast.
Poured with a pretty good head, a bit
bland though which I put down to the
effortless recipe.
Has the potential to be a pretty good
beer though, just need to fire up the
recipe a bit and use a good yeast.
