View Kit

Brilliant

This was the best beer I have ever made,
out of about 15 kits I have now done. I
is easily better than the James Squire
IPA it has much more flavor than that
and has a smooth taste. I reckon you
could pass this off as an all grain
brew. I did just standard recipe with no
additional ingredients. Even though I
could, because I have all the
hops/alternative yeast etc I wouldn't
add anything to this brew if I did it
again. Bit exy at 24 bucks though.

Muntons (connoisseur version)My
personal favourite. Brewed with 4 cups
of common table sugar - Warning if you
use any more sugar you will get that
cidery taste the brew kit companies warn
us about. If you need more alcohol use
malt. Ferments in 5-6 days then straight
to bottles - no secondary here. Nice
clean taste with enuf bitters to clean
the palate. No off tastes to speak of,
no sulpher nose or funny banana notes
I've tasted in other beers. I hope this
helps someone and wanted to add that
this forum is a great idea. Thanx Mark
email with questions I've easily made
100 of these with no bad results.
