E.S.B Australian Draught

Fruity and smooth, finest beer ever

This is the finest beer I have ever had, both home brew and pre made. It has a very nice floral aroma and the flavour makes it hard not to drink more than you should. I have just ordered another 2 containers of this to try using a keg as opposed to bottles. I could easily have this as my regular beer.

Aussie Draught?????

Made this kit in accordance with the instructions using the Safale yeast supplied with the kit. It is a good beer, good hop malt balance, will cause no offence to anyone. I do object to this kit being named Australian, it is much to dark to be representative of Australian commercial style. I realise that craft brewing at home is an attempt to improve on what is delivered at the pub but a label at least should indicative of a close commercial equivalent unless a colour spectrum rating & for that matter a bitterness rating is included.

This beer tastes sensational. Very easy to drink, but still packed with taste & character (for a draught, that is!!). Highly recommended, though if you're kegging it, you may want to put a little bit extra dextrose in (250g max), to get the alc % up a to 4.5-5%. This is my new favourite beer...

Very nice beer, didnt last 1 week in my 18lt keg, got better every day would definatly make it again. Used yeast supplied, 1 week in primary then 1 week in secondary then into keg. Fermenting temp was around 18 deg c. I give it a 5 purely for the ease of making it you would be hard pressed to get a better beer.

Made to 22 litres using WLP029 German Ale/Kolsch yeast. Temp 21-23C, 8 days primary fermentation. FG 1004. This beer is fantastic if you like Australian draught beers. Same style as a commercial Aussie draught but was considerably better when I did a side by side comparison with Crown Lager and Carlton Draught. More depth, fullness of flavour and complexity, little bit more malt and more hops (both bitterness and aromatic) than the commercial equivalents. Highly recommended.

one of the best kits ive done, no mucking around with ingredients because you dont need to improve it. i just use the safale yeast and brew at about 22 deegrees then cc for around a week or so then straight into keg force carb and drink.comes out the same every time and it is a real good session beer

One of the best

This kit produces outstanding beer. Easy to drink - not too heavy on the malt or the hops, but definately contains some complex flavours. I also used the liquid yeast Californian Ale with nothing else other than the kit. Good head retention and a hint of citrus? Very very good indeed - one of my favourites.

Great kit. Easy as. Brilliant seession beer. Something to ween your mates onto homebrew. Made with safale and had good results once the yeast clears. Similar to Carlton Draught. One of the best kits around. For best results use whitelabs californian ale yeast and ferment at suitable temp. cheers
