Almost but not quite

Made as per spec , 18 days primary at
~16 degrees with kit suppied yeast and
bottled just on 6 months ago.
Almost there but I gotta say I'm a
little disappointed, seems out of
balance upfront, but the long last
aftertaste flavours are great.
Might be a great beer for using in
cooking.

ESB Bavarian Bock

Brewed this with the kit yeast (saflager
W34/70) at 16deg for 2 weeks, final
volume was 15L.
Left it to lager for four months and it
keeps improving with age. A little sweet
early on, but dries out and is a bit
cleaner finishing at 4 months+. A very
complex-tasting kit. An excellent brew,
good for savouring on a cold night.
