Czech Saaz
by BFG

Made this per instructions, but with
10*C temperature. This is pretty good
flavour-wise, but the finish is not
bitter enough nor dry enough IMO to be a
good czech pils. I'm going to re-do
this kit with a czech liquid yeast
(WLP802) and 200g cara-pils, plus an
extra 10 IBUs of saaz bittering. Then I
think it will be a 4.5 score.

Bouncing Czech
by Rob

Brewed with the addition of strained
Saaz hops after 6-7 mins soaking in
boiled water.
After 4 weeks in the bottle - Superb.
Hazy golden colour, outstanding head and
wonderful clean, hoppy taste.
Good times ahead!

This brewed a nice drop. I added some
saaz to it as well. The yeast sediment
was very light in the bottle and clouds
the beer easily. Will definately rack it
next time.

Summertime pilsner
by Chris

Fermented using yeast supplied, 1 week
in primary, 1 week in secondary then
bottled. Very refreshing and bitter
perfect for a hot summers day, I would
make again plus the ease of using the
3kg pack makes it even better.

Nice Pils

Nice and clean pilsner. My first time
using a lager yeast, I used saflager
(Supplied with can). I also added 10
grams of saaz hops as a hop tea to the
primary fermentor. Fermented at about
10C for 2 weeks, 2 day rest and then
cold condition for 2 weeks. Next time I
would leave the 10 grams of saaz hops
out as it has a grassy taste. otherwise
great!
