Nicely refreshing but worth the extra?

Made to instructions with Brewcraft
Bitter conversion kit with 7 days in
primary at 20 deg. Has turned out to be
nice quaffing beer with good head
retention and a nice golden colour but
it did take much longer than usual to
clear in the keg. A good beer that I
enjoy drinking but I can't really say
that it's worth the extra $ over some
of the cheaper draught brands.

REAL draught beer
by Baz

Made using the kit, kit yeast, bodybrew
blend and 250g extra dextrose, plus 20g
POR finishing hop. Took ~1 week to
ferment at 21*C. Kegged for 2.5 months
and this beats anything from Tooheys
from the tap at the pub. Heaps of
flavour, a good strong draught for a hot
day.

Made to recipe in Morgans newsletter
with morgans lager malt (liquid 1kg) and
500grms dextrose and this would be one
of the best kits i've made. Excellent
full malty flavour and reddish colour.

Settle for Second Best

Made with 750g light liquid malt and
Brewcraft Malt Booster Plus #20.
Average beer which deteriorates over
time. First few sips is a little
confronting but you can settle into it
for the night. Make the Stockmans and
settle for second best.
