Unless you are a new vistor you will have noticed we have
a new layout, this is basically to clean things up a bit,

Brewed at 18 deg C with 2 gold kit
yeasts and added a full 1.5 kg bittered
tin of light malt to get higher ranks
version that is truly 'all malt'. A
fine drop, though a bit underdone on the
hops for an IPA.
The kit on it's own doesn't get
anywhere near the concentration of a
real IPA at 6% plus.
Suggest make the kit in about 15 litres.

Made to instructions (Troops version)
but with Muntons Premium Gold yeast. A
very nice drop. Lots of English hops
aroma and flavour but not overdone,
medium amber colour, full malty taste.
Not bitter enough for a true IPA (IBUs
in the low 20's) but very drinkable
regardless. Recommended.
