Impressive wheat beer

Great mouthfeel and of complex
character, this wheat beer from the Malt
Shovel Brewery is a great example of how
a wheat beer should taste. It is very
smooth to drink, and is characterised by
its lingering pleasant aftertaste.
Originally done to 18ltrs with 1/2kg
dextrose and brewed in summer, it was
weak and unpleasant, but done again to
11.5ltrs with cultured yeast from
Hoegaarden bottles, it was superb. Done
with some coriander and curacao orange
peel, it might taste like the real
thing!
