Colour is a light to mid amber and much
darker than on the label.
Lots of goldings hops (as with all
woodfordes) and a big taste.
Yeast provided (their own strain) was
very slow to ferment - 2 days to
commence. It's also very loose in the
bottle. Has a good flavour though.
This is not a pale ale as such but a
very good quality amber ale. Flavour and
alcohol content are fairly strong.
Good contrast to local kits.
